KALARAM MANDIR : This temple was built by Peshwas. There are great processions and utsav on Ramnavami, Dasara and Chaitra Padwa (Hindu new year day). The specialty of the temple is that it was built with black stones. (Distance : 2 KM)

RAM KUND : The most important place in Panchavati is Ramkund. It is so called because Lord Rama is believed to have taken bath there. Situated nearby is Gandhi Lake (Talav) having a memorable monument made out of white marble, in memory of the father of the nation. (Distance : 2 KM)

SITA GUMPHA : The Gumpha (i.e. Cave) is near the five Banyan trees in Panchavati. One can enter the cave with the help of a very narrow staircase. The cave has the idol of Shree Ram, Laxman and Sita. (Distance : 2 KM)

VED MANDIR : The Ved Mandir was built with the aim of studying Indian culture and Ved and Puranas. A private trust of Mr Sarada founded the temple.The temple is the example of modern interiors built with Italian Marble. Free training and education on Ved-puranas is given to students from all over India. (Distance : 2 1/2 KM)

GANGAPUR DAM & SOMEHSWAR : This is a beautiful nature spot . There is a temple of Lord Shiva and Lord Hanuman on the banks of the river Godavari.The area is covered with greenery all over, with a pleasant climate. Tourists can take pleasure of swimming and boating in the river. (Distance : 8 KM)

PANDLENA CAVES : On Bombay-Agra road, about 2.5 kms. from the Taj Residency a small hillock is seen. It houses the famous Pandavlena caves. From a distance you can see the hillock and the caves cut half way through the hillock. The climb is not very steep. The height of the caves must be about 300 ft. from the foot of the hillock. This is one of the beautiful places worth visiting. The caves are open for visitors from 8 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. everyday. (Distance : 8 KM)

SHIRDI : Shirdi is a holy place famous for the mystic saint Sai Baba. Shirdi is 97 kms away from Nashik. Sai Baba spent his life and also breathed his last in Shirdi. In the memory of Sai Baba, a big marble temple has been built in Shirdi, which attracts devotees from all over India and abroad. Sai Baba is worshipped with great reverence among all sects and religions of India. Thursdays are of special significance for the devotees, who flock for Aarati and Prasad on this day. SAPT SHRUNGI DEVI VANI : Saptashringa means the mountain having seven peaks. It is around 55 kms away from Nashik. Nanduri village is situated at the foot of the Saptashringa Garh. The road to the temple is zig - zag and climbs around 11 kms till it reaches the top. In front of the temple there stands Markandeya Rishi's (sage) hill. (Distance : 60 KM)

BHADARDARA : Bhandardara is a place whose beauty emerges only after the rains. Located around 70 Kms from Nashik, the best part of going to Bhandardara by road with your own transport is the serenity it offers all along the way. The Nashik highway is comparatively clear of heavy traffic. Built in 1926 , the Bhandardara dam is one of the oldest dams in Asia & is known for its Umbrella Falls which provides a most picturesque sight for trigger - happy photographs. (Distance : 75 KM)

MUKTIDHAM : The Muktidham Temple is pure white, i.e colour of holiness and peace. Extra white Makrana marble tiles were used to build this Temple which has a very unusual architecture. Unique to this Temple are the eighteen chapters of the Geeta written on the walls. (Distance : 6 KM)
